Family Promise of WNY survives because of community kindness and goodwill. You don't need to donate thousands of dollars or hundreds of hours of service to make a difference. In fact, you can make a meaningful change for your neighbors in need with one hour of volunteer work or a single donation of clothing, food, or furniture. There are many ways you can help us in our mission to respond to the needs of homeless families in Western New York.
Family Promise of WNY can use your help at our Resource Center.
Volunteers from host congregations provide hospitality to Family Promise guest families through their church, synagogue or place of worship. We welcome volunteers of all ages. These volunteers help us provide meals, overnight hospitality, and a friendly face to our families. Other volunteer jobs include:
Volunteers from support congregations provide volunteers of nearby host congregations with added help and team support. These volunteers may find themselves doing any of the congregations duties above.
