Furniture that we look for the most:
BIG ITEM BONUS LIST
Our Community Coordinator and Stability Coordinator will work with you to ensure that your items are reviewed, and you are contacted in a timely matter. Please make sure you are communicating your timeline and location when inquiring about your items. If your items are a good match for our families, our Stability Coordinator will help coordinate a delivery and/or pick up time with you.
We have a utility van that we use to transport select furniture with limited space, so we have measured out the space for you!
LARGE items must be able to fit in a space that is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by 6 feet long.
LONG items must be able to fit in a space that is 4 feet high by 18 inches wide by 9 feet long.
Your furniture donations will be used to start a family off in their brand new home! We want to make sure that they are proud of the space they put together, and you can help us do that. We want to make sure the donations we collect are functional, safe for children, and in quality shape.
We DO NOT accept furniture that has large stains, rips, tears, excessive damage from use and/ or glass components (due to child safety).
PLEASE NOTE: Furniture donations require flexibility as timelines may change, and families navigate through the crisis of homelessness.
Furniture that we cannot take can be directed to St. Vincent De Paul and Habitat for Humanity. Both sites have large box trucks and can pick up from your home.
