Furniture that we look for the most:
BIG ITEM BONUS LIST
**If you are looking to donate a large amount of items/ contents of an entire house, we do not have the capacity to transport items. Transportation will need to be at your cost. We will communicate with our families, and help coordinate drop off dates to their homes with you.
We have a utility van that we use to transport select furniture with limited space, so we have measured out the space for you!
LARGE items must be able to fit in a space that is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by 6 feet high.
LONG items must be able to fit in a space that is 4 feet high by 18 inches wide by 9 feet long.
Your furniture donations will be used to start a family off in their brand new home! We want to make sure that they are proud of the space they put together, and you can help us do that. We want to make sure the donations we collect are functional, safe for children, and in quality shape.
We DO NOT accept furniture that has large stains, rips, tears, excessive damage from use and/ or glass components (due to child safety).
PLEASE NOTE: Furniture donations require flexibility as timelines may change, and families navigate through the crisis of homelessness.
Furniture that we cannot take can be directed to St. Vincent De Paul and Habitat for Humanity. Both sites have large box trucks and can pick up from your home.
