Please skip us and go directly to the Erie County Department of Social Services at 158 Pearl Street, 1st floor.  Find the window that says "homeless".  Bring all your identifying documents.  They will intake you and find you shelter immediately.  If you need help outside the hours that the Department of Social Services is open, call "211" for help.

If you are a family seeking help with housing, you can call the Western New York Social Care Network and get screened to see which services you qualify for.  To get screened, you'll have to answer a few questions about housing and utilities, transporation, employment, education, and interpersonal safety.
