How to Donate: 101
How do I donate my items?
Step 1: GIVE US A CALL. We screen all donations first to make sure they are a good fit for our program.
PLEASE NOTE: If we do not approve your donation before you deliver it, we will ask you to return home with your donation and give us a call. This is part of our safety protocol.
Step 2: If your donation is a good fit, we will schedule a delivery day with you. If your donation is not a good fit at that time, we can provide alternative donation sites.
Step 3: On your delivery day, we will ask you to complete a short donation form for our records.
What donation items do we accept?
Our shelter is small, so we are very intentional about what we bring into our building. By only accepting specific and limited donations, our team can stay organized and on top of tasks.
We accept these items NEW and ALL THE TIME:
bedding
toiletries
household items
We accept these items GENTLY USED and AS NEEDED:
clothing
books
toys
We DO NOT accept these items:
furniture
estate clearings
