All of our shelter placements come from the Homeless Unit at the Department of Social Services. Follow the instructions below to find shelter:
Go to the Erie County Department of Social Services at 158 Pearl Street, 1st floor. Find the window that says "homeless". Bring all your identifying documents. They will intake you and find you shelter.
Call 211, Western New York's free and confidential link to health and human services. They will offer you emergency overnight assistance and send you to 158 Pearl Street in the morning for intake.
Call 211 with any questions related to rental or utility assistance. They will link you to the resources you need! Check out their website below to search for food pantries, free medical clinics, and more.
Call 716-862-4357 for help if you are experiencing domestic violence. Take a look at the Family Justice Center's website for more resources and information.
Call 716-847-0650 if you are in need of legal aid but unable to afford the representation you deserve. Take a look at Neighborhood Legal Services website for more information.
Call 716-834-3131 anytime of day if you are having suicidal thoughts or if you are in need or crisis counseling. Learn more about their services on their website, linked below.
